Poppy's Wheat Free

Check out my home girl Poppy Lafond's amazing baking venture

Poppy caters many high profile events and stuff so holla if you need a wheat free babe in your life.

Packed Lunch Yo

Chicken bagels with lemon, black pepper and rocket

It's a wrap mate

The lovely Rosie and Dan took me for a wrap and a Harvey Wall-banger at The Winchester on Archway Road (it's where they filmed Shaun of The Dead)

The Winchester is one of those pubs that looks like it will do really nice food, then you look at the menu and it's straight up pub grub served quick (ish) with a smile (ish)

Good for an average wrap or a portion of cheesy chips.

(I want to be massively obvious and say if you want a real good pub meal in Highgate then head to The Flask.)

The nachos here are pretty average, the best nachos I've had were at The Grand Union in Kentish Town, unfortunately no photo evidence.

The Corner Cafe

So if you're really hungry I don't suggest you try The Corner Cafe by Stoke Newington overground station unless you are massively hungover with a penchant for real grease.
Nice cuppa though.

AKSULAR

That age old debate when you are in P.Green and need a munch.

In a toss up between The Lemon Tree (which was on that Beat The Takeaway on TV) and Vrisaki (Buff award winning Wood Green munch) a new contender entered the race

We opted for Aksular on Green Lanes as we heard it was cheap and buff. Win.

We ate an Adanna and a whole baked quail and 2 glasses of wine. Recommended.

Sorry for the lack of photos we ate mega quickly.
